Combined with the status quo reflected in this meeting, Chairman Wu Chuyu believes that China's semiconductor lighting industry, especially downstream applications, has developed rapidly in recent years, and the application of LED in landscape lighting and backlight display has been very successful. The demonstration application of LED in road lighting has also achieved great results. However, due to the high price, the market has certain difficulties. At present, it is mainly promoted by local governments. In addition, there are still some technical problems. Issues that need to be improved, such as heat dissipation, reliability, longevity, adaptation to harsh environments, etc., but according to the speed of current technology development, these problems have been well resolved in the last two or three years. Therefore, the large-scale application of LED in road lighting is just around the corner. The application of LED in indoor lighting has not been widely adopted due to price and technology reasons. However, it is conservatively estimated that LEDs will replace incandescent lamps in large areas in indoor lighting for up to 3 to 5 years. For other energy-saving new light sources, Chairman Wu believes that the electrodeless fluorescent lamps and ceramic metal halide lamps are good light sources. Among them, China has surpassed the famous foreign enterprises in the technology of electrodeless fluorescent lamps. The technology of ceramic metal halide lamps is slightly different from foreign countries. The gap, but catching up is not a problem. Due to different technological development levels and characteristics, various light sources should be fully utilized in their respective suitable fields.
Analysis of China's lighting source / lighting market, Wu pointed out that the products of large foreign companies accounted for a large share of the domestic high-end market, while domestic products are in the low-end market. However, through the development of these years, the advantages of high quality and low price of Chinese lamps have been fully demonstrated. This situation is undergoing a fundamental change. In the future, the domestic light source/lighting market will be dominated by domestic light sources/lighting lamps, and will be dominated by Chinese lighting companies. .
For the solar photovoltaic lighting, such as solar lawn lights, which was reflected in the forum lighting application summit, Chairman Wu suggested that the government and industry should pay more attention. Director Wu also said that due to the rapid development of solar lawn lamps, it is urgent to introduce relevant standards to market and products, and relevant departments have included them in the agenda.
