China Pavilion LED lights save 70% of energy
The reporter learned from Osram yesterday that in order to build a sustainable low-carbon World Expo, OSRAM and its parent company, Siemens Group, provided green lighting technology support for more than 40 projects of the Expo. In particular, the LED lights that were commissioned in six months accurately interpreted the Chinese pavilion as the fascinating color of the "Forbidden City Red." Compared to conventional halogen lamps, OSRAM LED lamps can save more than 70% of electricity; and OSRAM's various lighting systems used in the Expo Center can achieve energy efficiency of up to 33% compared to conventional lighting solutions.
