In the recent years, Hainan Province has vigorously developed green lighting technology and promoted green lighting technologies such as solar street lights and wind-solar complementary energy-saving lamps in major cities such as Haikou and Sanya to maximize the use of renewable energy. Efforts will be made to reduce energy consumption and pollution emissions and create a “low carbon demonstration province”.
