Smart lights debut in Jiangyin in the second half of the year
During these two days, the careful citizens passing through the junction of Jiangyin Chengjiang Road and Huangshan Road can find that the traffic lights here can automatically adjust the duration according to the change of road traffic. Originally, this is the newly installed intelligent traffic signal system of the traffic patrol department. In the future, this intelligent traffic signal system will completely replace Jiangyin's existing countdown signal lights.
Compared with traditional signal lights, this new intelligent traffic signal system automatically senses the change of road traffic and automatically adjusts the length of traffic lights at intersections. When the traffic volume is large, it gives more green time, thus achieving a smoother traffic. It is understood that the Jiangyin Traffic Patrol Police Department will implement the intelligent traffic signal system in the second half of this year on the basis of this pilot.
