Recently, Raditec Microelectronics announced the launch of RDA6861 multi-mode front-end module, which supports quad-band GSM / EDGE and WCDMA / CDMA / LTE handheld mobile devices and smartphones.
RDA6861 is a high-power, high-efficiency front-end module chip, which is composed of a multi-mode power amplifier and a multi-throw antenna switch. The product's internal power amplifier supports WCDMA / LTE frequency bands and provides two optional UMTS switch ports for external WCDMA / LTE power amplifier connections. The power amplifier, switch and integrated controller are developed by the mature gallium arsenide HBT and CMOS process technology in an ultra-small 6mm x6mm 40pin LGA package. A complete product design requires very few external components, which simplifies PCB layout, reduces board space, and reduces material cost.
