Intel's Next Generation Haswell "Nude" First Public

Then compare Ivy Bridge, Sandy Bridge, and Nehalem with the same four-core, eight-threaded version. The latter two are 32nm and 45mm processes, and the core area is 216mm2 and 263mm2, respectively. Ivy Bridge has been inferred to be about 162 square millimeters, and Haswell has increased slightly to about 185 square millimeters.
