Longda Electronics was listed on Q1 in 2011 and mass production in Suzhou factory during the same period.
AUO (2409-TW) Group's LED manufacturer Longda Electronics (3698-TW), recently applied for listing, is expected to be listed in Q1 2011, when the mainland Suzhou plant began mass production.
At present, the number of MOCVD machines in Ronda is more than 50, and it is expected to increase to about 80 at the end of 2010. At the same time, it plans to introduce 6-inch machines. Two of them are 2-inch machines and four are 4-inch machines. They continue to cooperate with the Group's Power Alliance (3080-TW) to implement capacity outsourcing plans.
In the new plant planning, the Zhunan plant area under construction will be positioned as a lighting application plant. The production line includes SMT and lighting source assembly. It is the fourth plant of Lunda Electronics and is expected to be mass-produced in Q4 2010. In addition, the Suzhou plant area is currently undergoing civil engineering construction. It is expected to be installed in early 2011 and mass production in Q1 2011. At that time, the Suzhou plant will replicate the one-stop production experience of Taiwan's upstream, middle and lower reaches to applied products to meet the strong demand for LED backlighting and lighting in the world and in China.
Ronda will continue to adjust its product portfolio, actively expand the LED lighting market, develop lighting application products, and provide Total Solution services to increase product added value.
