1. The cutter blade consists of four double-sided blades, evenly distributed across four equal sections. These blades are replaceable. To replace them, first loosen the five Phillips screws (four per blade piece), then remove the six-blade platen and the four sampling blades. Install a new set of blades, press the platen back into place, ensuring that the blade edges are aligned in the same plane and the blade mouth is tangential. Finally, tighten the five Phillips screws securely.

2. A real mark is located on the bottom of the device, which helps to fix the pattern and prevents the sample from slipping during cutting. This feature enhances accuracy and stability when taking samples.

3. Beneath the corrugated handwheel, there is a knurled disc used to adjust the thickness of the cut. To do this, loosen the three locking screws, then rotate the knurled disc—clockwise for thinner cuts, counterclockwise for thicker ones. Once the desired thickness is achieved, tighten the locking screws to secure the setting.

1. Begin by selecting the fabric you wish to cut. Measure its thickness and adjust the disc sampler accordingly using the steps outlined above.

2. Place the fabric onto a cork mat to provide a stable surface. Position the disc sampler over the fabric and hold the cover with one hand to keep it steady.

3. With your other hand, grip the corrugated handwheel and apply gentle pressure. Rotate the handwheel clockwise by more than 90 degrees to cut out a round specimen. Ensure smooth and even rotation for clean results.
