The Hisense LCD TV model TLM4077D has an issue where the volume increases or decreases automatically. This unit is a reworked device, and the original power board was damaged. It was repaired and the buttons were replaced as part of the process. During testing, the TV would reset itself and show the same fault again. Upon careful observation, it was found that the automatic volume change only occurred when the remote control was used. For example, pressing the volume up button could cause the volume to jump to 100 and keep increasing, or sometimes just add one or two levels before stopping. In most cases, the problem didn't repeat unless the user pressed the button multiple times. Similar issues are common in this type of TV. It might be caused by a faulty motherboard or related components such as leaking capacitors or other parts. Following the principle of starting from simple to complex, the first step was to replace the remote control sensor. However, this did not solve the problem. Then, the user memory was cleared, and after rebooting, the issue seemed to be resolved. Interestingly, the brightness also improved significantly, making the image much clearer than before. Although the initial repair wasn't perfect, the technician decided not to overcomplicate things and moved on.
