1. Machine Tool Electrical Inspection: Open the machine tool's electrical control box and inspect relays, contactors, fuses, servo motor speed controllers, control unit sockets, spindle motor speed control unit sockets, etc. Ensure all connections are secure and properly locked. For machines with a transfer box, check the socket on the transfer box for looseness and confirm that the locking mechanism is engaged.
2. CNC Electrical Box Check: Open the CNC electrical cabinet and inspect all interface sockets, including the servo motor feedback line socket, spindle pulse generator socket, manual pulse generator socket, and CRT socket. If any connections are loose, reinsert them securely. Ensure that all locking mechanisms are properly engaged. Check the short-circuit terminals on each printed circuit board according to the instruction manual and verify they match the manufacturer’s settings. If incorrect, reset them. It is important to keep a record of the original configuration.
3. Wiring Quality Check: Inspect all wiring terminals, including those for both strong and weak current sections installed during factory assembly, as well as the power lines for each motor. Use a screwdriver to tighten every terminal until it is fully secured. Ensure all motor sockets are firmly fastened.
4. Solenoid Valve Check: Manually operate all solenoid valves several times to prevent failure due to long periods without power. If any abnormalities are detected, document them and address them after powering up the system.
5. Limit Switch Inspection: Verify that the limit switches are operating smoothly and are securely fixed. If any switch is not functioning properly or is loosely mounted, repair or replace it immediately.
6. Buttons and Switches Check: Inspect all buttons, switches, and indicators on the operation panel. Address any malfunctions promptly. Also, check the sockets and wiring on the CRT unit to ensure proper functionality.
7. Ground Wire Inspection: Confirm that the grounding wire is in good condition and that the machine tool’s grounding resistance is less than 1Ω for optimal safety and performance.
8. Power Supply Phase Sequence Check: Verify that the phase sequence of the input power supply matches the one marked on the machine. For equipment with secondary wiring, such as power transformers, ensure the secondary wiring phase sequence is also correct. Measure and record the power supply voltage at this stage to confirm stability and accuracy.
