Nanjing 110KV Gupinggang Substation Completed and Put into Operation in Nanjing

On February 21, with the smooth transmission of electricity from No. 1 Main Transformer, the 110 kV Gupinggang substation, which was listed as a key construction project in Nanjing, was successfully put into operation. The commissioning of the station will increase the supply capacity of 100,000 kVA for the Gupinggang area, which will effectively alleviate the power shortage in the red power-reduced area of ​​Gupinggang, the main city of Nanjing.

It is understood that in the design process of the 110-kilovolt Gupinggang substation, Nanjing Power Supply Company implemented the construction concept of “harmony with the environment and the friendliness of the residents”, fully considered the surrounding environmental factors, made checks at various levels, and repeatedly optimized the project plan, strictly according to law. Implement a series of approval procedures such as planning and environmental assessment. The substation follows the design philosophy of “Two-in-One, Three-New” of State Grid Corporation of China and adopts the most advanced small-scale domestic substation arrangement mode in the country. The entire substation construction area is only about 1,936 square meters. Actively adopt greening methods, plan 400 square meters as an open landscape park, and strive to create a "green substation" where people and nature live in harmony.

During the construction of the substation, the power supply department strictly implemented the "Management Regulations for Construction of Nanjing Construction Sites" and adopted no-construction at night to arrange special personnel to sprinkle water, clean vehicles, clean the site and other humanized measures, and perform safe and civilized construction. By reducing noise and avoiding dust, and without affecting the normal life of surrounding residents, Nanjing Power Supply Co., Ltd. has also created the fastest record of 28-day capping in the history of the construction of substations in Jiangsu Province, providing a demonstration effect for the construction of urban substations.

Up to now, all eight transformer substations in the main urban area planned and constructed in Nanjing in 2002 have been completed and put into operation. In 2012, Nanjing will focus on promoting 87 power grid projects of 35 kilovolts or more, and do the preliminary work of a number of key projects such as the 220 kV Ninghai Road. In the peak season before summer, the project will focus on completing the 220-kilovolt animal husbandry and other projects.
