December 19, 2016 ─ ─ ImaginaTIon Technologies announced that its high-performance Ensigma Explorer wireless communication IP has been re-certified for Wi-Fi CERTIFIEDTM. The certification was based on a reference design based on the CxT200 chip, which is the chip built into the Creator Ci40 development board. The Wi-Fi Alliance® certification includes: Wi-Fi CERTIFIED a, b, g, n, ac; and includes two spatial streams of authentication; and WPATM - Enterprise and Personal; WPA2TM - Businesses and individuals; and WMM®.
Supporting all wireless communication standards with a single architecture, the ImaginaTIon Ensigma Wireless Communications IP core addresses the growing challenges of various rapidly evolving communication and connectivity technologies. These standards can also be integrated into the SoC at the lowest system cost.
