This tool provides viewfinder and storyboard functionality through the camera, but Blocker's features not only just record the world around you. To enhance the scene, creators can use 3D models that allow them to actually see the detailed stage layout of a given scene.
As shown in the image above, this application contains the camera's presets, allowing the creator to copy the final result as much as possible. This tool is particularly useful for producers who do not want to have stage scheduling on site by staff.
In addition, this application includes a physical model of the sun to help creators simulate shadows and colors to meet the basic lighting needs of the scene during production.
Once the scene is finished and lit, creators can take still images. Static images can be sorted into storyboards and then exported to any existing workflow, including every important piece of information such as the camera and lens type.
Blocker is currently on the App Store and supports iPhone 6S or newer models with iOS 11.
