DIY A Cat.6 Patch Cord

Material For A Patch Cord to Get: 1. Catagory 6 cable 2.Relief boots  3.A toolkit including cutter,crimper,RJ45 connector, cable tester Processing of Installation Step 1,get a cat.6 cable with your required length, let the boot go through first for preparation.Get a stripper from the toolkit to striping back the jacket, make sure you will not demage the conductors inside.  Step 2: Now the conductor pairs exposed, what we do is to cut of the plastic center cross and separate especially to straighten them.  Next we will arrange the conductors into the order which you choose T568A/B wiring standard.Place them tightly together in order and make a nice cut at 90 degree with a cable cutter, important to note the length should be about 1/2 of an inch from the end of the jacket. Step 3: Place the conductors into their proper location in the RJ45 modular connector. Before you see the end of each conductor indicating that they are fully inserted you will be certain they retain their order.Works almostly done, now you need a crimper to complete a crimp. Get back the boot to the connector, perfect job!
