I. Introduction
The bipolar vacuum brick extruding machine is designed for the production of various types of bricks, including shale, coal gangue, and clay. This equipment features a two-level structure, making it easy to install based on the site conditions. Both the upper and lower transmission systems use ZQ international reducers and axial start-up clutches, while the entire body is constructed with welded steel plates. The reamer surface is coated with wear-resistant material using a spray welding process, significantly extending its service life. The machine is robust, user-friendly, and capable of producing different types of hollow bricks, making it a versatile solution for brick manufacturing. Its structural performance includes a dual-stirring extrusion section (upper pole) and an extrusion molding section (lower pole), along with air compression and vacuum pumping systems. The machine uses a start clutch control system. This article mainly discusses the field application of the Easy-Drive GT200 series inverter in the bipolar vacuum brick extruding machine.
II. Working Principle of Bipolar Vacuum Brick Machine
After the raw materials are crushed, water is added, and the mixture is stirred, pressurized, and vacuumed before being extruded. The extruded material is then cut and baked to form sintered solid or hollow bricks with specific strength, density, and shape.
III. Application Program
Currently, most brick extruding machines use direct power frequency start or auto-step-down start modes. These methods result in high inrush currents, increasing the transformer capacity requirement at the front end of the equipment and causing significant wear due to frequent start-ups. Additionally, when the machine is not operating properly, it often runs at high speeds unnecessarily. By using an inverter, the brick machine can be controlled more efficiently. When the start clutch is not engaged, the motor runs at 30Hz in idle mode, and once the clutch engages, the inverter quickly accelerates to 50Hz, meeting energy-saving requirements and reducing mechanical wear.
IV. Features and Advantages of Easy-Drive GT200 Inverter
The Easy-Drive GT200 series inverter is a high-performance open-loop vector inverter with advanced control capabilities, such as large low-frequency torque, automatic motor parameter identification, optimized acceleration and deceleration control, and wave-by-wave current limiting. It supports powerful I/O expansion and a variety of communication control cards, allowing customization of process control cards to meet specific customer needs. It offers multiple functions like pendulum frequency control, multi-segment control, and simple PLC control, making it suitable for a wide range of automation applications in industries such as machinery, cables, textiles, food, and chemicals.
V. Field Application
A 280KW main motor is paired with a 280KW inverter in a one-to-one configuration. When the motor is idle, it runs at 30Hz, and once the clutch engages, it accelerates to 50Hz.

VI. Conclusion
The Easy-Drive GT200 series inverter offers a wide speed range, high speed accuracy, high efficiency, strong mechanical characteristics, good static stability, and low energy consumption during start-up and braking. As a result, the use of frequency converters for AC three-phase asynchronous motor speed control has become widely adopted in industrial applications.
