Samsung LG Display core technology leaks or will flow into China

The core technologies of Samsung's and LG's next-generation display panels "AM-OLED" and "WHITE-OLED" have been leaked. Among them, some technologies may flow into China's largest panel production company, which is shocking.

Seoul Metropolitan District Court’s tip-off search 1 stated on the 27th that it had arrested and sued the company’s Korean branch’s staff, Kim, for suspicion of stealing “AM-OLED” technology from Samsung Mobile Display and LG Display. O company is headquartered in Israel, is a company providing display inspection equipment company.

The prosecution also sued the three superiors of the above three groups for the same suspicion and filed a lawsuit against the Korean branch of company O.

According to the prosecution, the suspects stole many core technologies such as "AM-OLED" panels and physical circuit diagrams for 55-inch TVs for Samsung Mobile Display and LG Display from November last year to January this year.

They provided stolen information to Israeli headquarters staff and competitors in mainland China and Taiwan.

The prosecutor stated that the leaked technology was the secret data of the two companies and was also the core technology of China. If foreign competitors acquire the technology, they may narrow the technology gap in a very short period of time. The prosecutors plan to continue investigations of employees of O company headquarters and overseas branches to prevent further leakage of the technology.
