Q: Dongbei's operating performance is better than expected this year. What is the main driving force?

A: After the LED industry adjustment at the end of last year, Dongbei's main focus on the backlight market is obviously a rapid recovery this year. In particular, the penetration rate of LED TV will reach 70% (global average) this year. Dongbei is also developing TV LED backlight in Taiwan. More focused on the company, the degree of benefit is more obvious, it can be regarded as a big winner in the same industry Taiwan factory.

Japanese and Taiwanese factories become new customers
Dongbei actively develops new customers outside the Korean system, including the mainland's six major color TV sets, Japanese and Taiwanese factories, all of which are our customers. Therefore, the results of the first quarter of this year and the second quarter of the industry recovery, Dongbei operation has grown significantly. . In addition to LED TVs, notebook and touch panel (NB, Tablet) products have been sold this year, and Tablet backlight products have also been adopted by international brands.

Q: The penetration rate of LED TV has reached 70%. What is the lighting market?

A: LED backlight application, TV-based terminal products, penetration rate reached 70% this year, has indeed been regarded as the end of "mandatory growth", I predict that the LED backlight market will show "natural" after 2 years Growing up, this also means that the LED industry will grow in the future by lighting.

4 to 5 times in the next 3 years
In view of the global LED lighting market penetration rate, this year's penetration rate is about 10%, and will rise to 15% to 20% next year. It has been estimated by industry surveys, and will reach 50% by 2015. From the previous year to about three years this year, there are three to four times the growth, and in the next three years, it is estimated that there will be 4 to 5 times growth.

Q: So you think that the explosive power of the LED lighting market is just about to show up?

A: Yes, the maturity of LED lighting is almost the same this year. From the perspective of demand, after three years of market education, consumers are willing to accept LED lighting, and believe in the energy-saving benefits brought by LED lighting, especially after the 311 earthquake in Japan last year, the penetration rate of LED lighting in the Japanese market doubled within half a year. Up to 40% (where the LED bulb penetration rate is as high as 60%). In Taiwan, for 1 kWh of electricity, you can only use the traditional lamp for 1 hour. If you use the LED lamp for 7 hours, the price of electricity has been rising. It is very cost-effective to change the lamp.

Sweet to earn money
In terms of the quality of LED lighting, the light efficiency of LED bulbs is now higher than that of energy-saving bulbs, and you will be surprised to find that a good quality LED bulb achieves a full-circumference angle of 320 degrees. Even if the uniformity is enough, there will be no shadow of light, and it will not feel the darkness of some corners, so consumers have generally accepted LED lights.

From the point of view of the price of LED lighting, this year's price cuts have fallen into this way, sweet spots have arrived, and now it is necessary to profit from the fierce competition.

Q: What is the progress of Dongbei in the layout of LED lighting?

A: The indoor lighting of LED tubes, bulbs and flat panels has been laid out as early as 2 or 3 years ago, so now I am in this market a bumper harvest this year. Dongbei is taking the route, brand OEM route, not playing its own brand. As everyone knows, Datong is the founder of Dongbei. A certain channel that sells well in Japan is also Dongbei OEM, so others can't enter the Japanese market. Dongbei had already entered the company by OEM. Next, Dongbei will also expand OEM orders for European and American international brands, and cooperate with mainland Putian Hongyan Electric and BOE Lighting. These OEM and ODM orders will gradually reflect the operation in the next few quarters.
