Lack of self-developed weak support materials

What is the biggest problem that restricts the development of LED packaging companies? Is the chip supply, application disconnected or intellectual property, patents, brands, scales, etc?

Domestic LED packaging companies can only develop their production scale and improve their technical level in order to achieve better development in the intensified market competition. Enterprises have indeed developed into a bigger, stronger, larger, and branded development period. Only by making the package bigger and stronger can we guarantee the market of extension and chip, and promote the development of the extension and chip industry, so that the entire LED industry chain can be better and faster. Restricted by regional interests, investment interests, and management trust, it is less likely that domestic companies will become bigger and stronger through cooperation. The capital increase and expansion of existing enterprises is one of the keys to the healthy development of the LED industry in the future and its true competitiveness. The state should provide necessary policy concessions and financial assistance for the financing, fund raising and investment of existing enterprises, and create an environment for corporate mergers and acquisitions. At the same time, it is necessary to limit small-scale and low-level redundant construction to concentrate resources on existing industrialized enterprises so that they can become bigger and stronger.

Peng Wanhua: China's LED packaging capacity is relatively large, about 40 billion / year, plus foreign companies, more than 50 billion / year. Ding Chenglong: The LED packaging industry has formed a scale in China. Local enterprises and foreign-funded enterprises have covered almost all varieties of the LED packaging industry. Yan Tongsheng: China's LED industry and downstream applications are somewhat out of line, mainly because the upstream and downstream application industries of LEDs are often different industries, and they do not know each other enough. The awareness of new bright spots and new problems arising from the application development of LED products needs to be improved. In addition, related to the prevailing crises in China, the vicious competition among enterprises, blindly pursuing the scale of development, makes them have greater caution. I think that when the industry and the government should reflect on it, many local governments advocate that enterprises become bigger and stronger. Of course, entering the field of general lighting, everyone has been recognized for some time, but the speed of technological progress exceeds expectations, which means that entering the general lighting field is no longer on paper. The related preparation and trial work has in fact been carried out on a large scale. As far as automotive lighting is concerned, international high-end cars such as Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Toyota and Ford have launched new cars with LED lamps, and it is estimated that the application of LEDs in car headlights is expected in 2007 and 2008. The application advantages of LED in this field are almost irreplaceable. Second, the landscape and decorative lighting inside the building. Is the interior lighting of a building a market for general lighting or a market for decorative lighting? If the question is 20 years ago, the answer is certain, because in that era, people's requirements for home lighting were basically limited to functional requirements - bright. But now, let's look at the lights at home. How many of them are functional and illuminating? Meeting rooms and office space are mainly based on such requirements. 这还不是最根本的问题,因为我们现在谈的只是对传统光源的替代应用,现在的建筑物设计的时候本身是以传统照明技术为基础的,而在未来,半导体照明会是一个建筑设计师开始设计时首先要考虑到的一个核心或者说基础。到那个时候,人类对照明的概念和认识跟现在相比会有一个翻天覆地的变化,所以说,LED技术是一项在未来要颠覆建筑设计师设计理念的技术。

蒋国忠:未来我们可以关注:第一,LED全彩显示屏。凭借着亮度高、寿命长等独特优势,目前LED显示屏已经广泛应用到车站、银行、证券、医院。随着LED发光效率的提高及平均价格的下降,LED全彩显示屏将广泛应用在体育场馆、市政广场、演唱会、车站、机场等场所,呈现强劲的增长态势。第二,中大尺寸LED背光源。LED背光源具有色彩还原好、省电、寿命长、污染小等优点,而且能够表现更加鲜艳的颜色,色域达108%,越来越多的厂商开始研制大尺寸的LED背光源。随着大尺寸LED背光源的亮度、散热、光的均匀分布等问题的解决及价格的下降,加之欧盟环保标准陆续出台实施,大尺寸LED背光源将取代大尺寸液晶CCFL背光源,其市场需求将远远超过其他领域对LED的需求,应用前景相当广阔。第三,特种照明。特种照明领域有汽车灯、室内装饰灯、景观照明等。第四,通用照明。目前功率白光LED进入通用照明市场,不仅面临着发光效率低、散热不好、成本过高等问题,还面临着光学、结构与控制等的结合以及LED照明产品通用标准的制订。但随着芯片发光效率及封装技术的提高,功率白光LED将逐步进入酒店、商务会馆、高档商用写字楼等商用场所。

彭万华:由于LED应用面很广,在未来一段时间里,主要还是在背光源、汽车用灯及显示、半导体照明三大领域开展推广应用。具体来说:背光源方面重点开发9英寸~20英寸显示器的LED背光源,并尽快产业化,大面积的LED背光源也要相应开发。汽车用的LED灯及显示部分应全面进入开发及应用阶段。

关积珍:在半导体通用照明到来的前夕,特种照明的市场发展会加快,城市亮化、景观显示以及节能类的产品会有发展;LED显示屏市场将持续保持增长,全彩色LED显示屏产品成本下降、技术成熟,将会普及性发展,同时,满足不同行业需求的专项应用产品会有增加;其他LED显示应用产品的市场未来增长空间非常广阔。

牟同升:首先要对LED产品的性能特点必须有充分认识,不能完全依照传统照明产品来考虑。如:LED本身为定向发光的点光源,如果按传统灯泡概念设计照明光源,则抹杀了LED光源原有的特点。所以在传统照明领域,我们应结合照明的本质要求、LED的特点,做隐藏式、环境友善型、艺术化照明产品的设计,尤其在数字照明应用上,LED将具有非常广阔的前景,相信在未来的照明中,LED产品将大有作为,而且从理念上将改变人们的传统照明观念。

其次,更应关注照明的高效、节能、安全、环保、健康、舒适以及数字化控制等方面的应用。在显示领域更应关注在LCD背光源中的应用,这不仅将改变目前传统LCD显示质量,同时也将形成LED产业较大的应用领域。随着未来的发展,LED显示技术和传统LED照明领域的很多技术将互相融合,形成更多新型的显示和照明产品。

第三,特种照明领域。尤其是LED植物照明光源将与目前传统的植物照明光源有很大不同。可利用LED的光谱特性与植物光合作用的光谱作最佳匹配;利用LED脉冲调制控制方式与植物的光合作用或呼吸过程在时域上最佳的匹配;利用LED的照明灯的光色成分(红蓝比)与植物生长需求作最佳匹配,有效地控制植物的生长形态。这些方面均可通过LED技术实现高效、节能的照明目的,为未来的高效精品农业的发展发挥重要作用。在医疗领域上,LED也将有很大的发挥空间,尤其与数字照明技术结合,改变人类生活环境的气氛,调节人的情绪和内分泌等都有积极的作用。

方志烈:最近有三个产品领域应予关注。一是汽车灯。高位刹车灯、方向灯以及车内照明灯等车灯已趋成熟,目前已有国内外多种生产企业在新型号上采用,市场正在迅速扩大中。二是液晶屏的LED背光。手机上应用已具很大规模,目前正在扩展7英寸-21英寸车载屏和监视器屏,正向26英寸-50英寸电视屏扩展。去年6月,三星公司已有40英寸电视机在欧洲销售,价格3000美元。随着器件效率的提高,所用器件数量将成倍减少,散热问题也将随之解决。国内京东方等已有一定基础,应加强开发力度,争取尽早进入大屏幕生产阶段,扶植两三个企业,做大做强,因为我国有很强的彩电生产能力和巨大的LCD平板电视市场。三是LED路灯异军突起。随着功率LED的进展和太阳能电池的配套使用,使LED路灯的节能、环保效果实现。近期,已有几万套的订单出现,LED路灯照明的示范道路和示范景区或住宅区成批呈现,配合驱动电路智能控制深夜关灯或亮度减半等办法,节能效果明显,应用推广速度加快。制订各种规格LED路灯的标准的议题,应提上日程,以避免质量差、寿命短的LED路灯出现,造成不必要的损失。这一市场将是诱人的。
此外室内装饰灯、过道灯和台灯也可开始启动研发。

江苏稳润:努力完成“一体两翼”设想

稳润的特点是在LED封装领域的产品做得比较全,覆盖了LED数码管、平面显示、直插式发光管、CHIP LED、TOP LED到食人鱼、大功率LED各类封装产品,因为我们有一块很大的市场在国外,向客户提供“一站式”采购服务是我们近年一直努力的一个目标。总的来说,这些年LED封装产品各个分支领域的增长都比较稳定,不过增长最明显、对效益支撑也最明显的还是面向装饰类照明的产品。

稳润对下一步的发展有一个“一体两翼”的设想,“一体”是在封装领域面上做全、局部做特、利润基础做实;“两翼”一是选择适当时机有步骤涉足芯片领域(也并不一定是自己做),二是有选择地做一两个产业门槛相对高一点、但是有较长远发展前景的应用产品(这个如果做的话,一定是自己做。产业联合或重组也是稳润可以考虑的方向,不过这个方向有较大的不确定性,所谓可遇不可求。

厦门华联:推进应用产品开发和市场建设

厦门华联经过多年发展的积淀,在产品方面已形成如下两大系列:一是LED和照明应用产品;二是微电脑控制器、汽车电子等。目前公司在厦门思明光电园区的华联电子新区内新落成的第一栋光电大楼将大大提升公司运营规模,公司在功率LED、白光LED方面装备和工艺技术水平有了大幅提升。
