Appliance industry or into the "Internet +" the most ground-breaking entrance

From the hot-selling of Wi-Fi outlets and the competition of major Internet companies to air cleaners, nowadays, the home appliance industry is fully merging with the Internet. In the era of new home appliances, smart home appliances manufacturing has started.

Since Prime Minister Li Keqiang proposed the "Internet Plus," the concept from Internet users to the government has been widely respected. It is reported that before the concept of “Internet+” emerged, Hangzhou Hi-tech Zone (Binjiang) had attached great importance to the development of high-tech industries.

“There are a lot of technology companies like Binhai in Binjiang,” Mr. Liu Zongxi, CEO of Hangzhou Gubei Electronic Technology Co., told reporters. It is reported that since its establishment in 2013, Gubei Technology, as a high-tech enterprise, has been focusing on hardware and software development, production, sales and services.

According to the reporter's understanding, Liu Zongxi is the introduction of talents in the "Thousand Talents Program" of the Hangzhou National Hi-tech Development Zone. He originally worked in Australia and in 2012 coincided with three friends and returned home to start a business. At the beginning of the venture, Liu Zongxi and Other partners visited Beijing, Shenzhen, and Shanghai, but ultimately chose Hangzhou based on the company's own considerations. He believes that Hangzhou is superior to other places in terms of innovation.

"Local government does not help chaos"

Liu Zongxi recalled that the company has three employees from its initial team to more than 130 employees. A large part of the company's success has benefited from the support of the Binjiang District government in the early days of its establishment.

He believes that in recent years, the Binjiang government has truly provided businesses with only a helping hand. In the early days of its establishment, the Binjiang District Government provided 3 million project start-up funds to Liu Zongxi’s enterprises, provided office space in the industrial park, and was free of rent. In 2013, the company received capital injections of Qihoo 360 and Qihu Jingdong with US$10 million. Liu Zongxi revealed that in the first quarter of 2015, the company had revenue of 20 million, and its current valuation is up to 1 billion yuan.

As the initial “angel investor” of the company, the government has provided great help for the start and development of the company. It is understood that the Binjiang District Government has continuously issued relevant implementation measures for high-tech enterprises to promote the development of the Internet industry in the High-tech Zone.

Today, the home appliance industry has been forced by the Internet to "get angry."

In 2012, Liu Zongqi promoted the company’s smart home appliance solutions to traditional home appliance manufacturers, but was frequently perfunctorily rejected. This situation has undergone tremendous changes in early 2014. Faced with the emergence of smart products such as Xiaomi Technology Air Purifier and LeTV TV players, many home appliance companies have begun to “get out of control”. Traditional home appliance companies have felt their own crisis, and the home appliance industry is being forced by the Internet to transform and upgrade. Integrating the Internet and taking the route of smart home appliances have become the consensus of the industry.

The reporter observed that a number of companies such as Galanz, Supor, TCL, Oaks, Hisense, and Cologne have already cooperated with Gubei Science and Technology, and developed in a different way towards “Internet + Home Appliances”.

Liu Zongxi believes that Internetization is not to revolutionize traditional enterprise fears, but is a tool to help traditional manufacturing assist upgrades. “The integration of the Internet in household appliances manufacturing industry is the most grounded, and 'change' is definitely a trend in the future. For example, Haier and Midea have long stayed in the sales model and added an e-commerce business. Traditional Chinese home appliances have developed into smart home appliances in recent years. It rose sharply," said Liu Zongxi.

"Internet +" Drives Home Appliances Intelligence

In the Gubei Science and Technology Exhibition Hall, the reporter experienced a “tall” smart home appliance, which realized the control of all networked home appliances in the room through software. For example, before the summer home, the software will issue a command to turn on the air conditioner in advance; the air humidifier can use the background data information feedback (air data fed back by the humidity sensor), and the system will recommend whether the user uses the humidifier. In addition, the software can also make more individualized control of all associated home appliances.

When the staff opened the door of the exhibition hall, the lights in the room were automatically turned on and the curtains in the living room were automatically closed. According to the staff, “When the door is opened at night, the interior lighting will be automatically turned on and the curtains closed; when the door is closed, the interior lighting is turned off and the street lights outside the door are closed. It can also be used by the system software according to the user’s habits and requirements. Change the operation, personalized customization.” The reporter also learned that the door is equipped with connectors, the key rotation, door closing and opening, light sensors will form a feedback message processing.

Ordinary people who can't cook can also be made into German pig's feet. The intelligent “Internet menu” that connects microwaves and ovens to the Internet also makes reporters feel very new. Users simply click on the menu and place ingredients on the Internet. The microwave oven (or oven) will find the corresponding parameters based on the data and start working. Compared with the traditional fixed mode, the physical buttons of microwave ovens, ovens, microwave ovens, ovens will be more magical.

According to the reporter's in-depth understanding, remote control and remote sensing control are important foundations for current light and intelligent design, and many smart appliances for inventory are more dependent on this solution.

Remote control and remote sensing control are currently the most widely used and most basic intelligent controls. For example, the Wi-Fi switch is to add a control connector with a wireless network to a conventional household outlet, and to control the on/off of the remote control current through the mobile phone APP or other means to control the opening and closing of the home appliance. Remote sensing control is the use of sensors, detectors, etc. to help achieve information collection, and then through the processing of information, eventually make information feedback.

Liu Zongxi told reporters, "To realize smart home appliances, we must first connect the network to allow household appliances to connect to the Internet; secondly, the application of sensors and detectors to achieve automatic control; and then human-computer interaction, through the collection of data, calculation, and use of artificial intelligence. Smart home appliances."
