Preparation of Flame Retardant and Thermal Conductive Silicone Electronic Glue for Bulb Lamp Power Supply Potting

As electronic devices continue to integrate more powerful functions into smaller components, electronic components place higher demands on the flame retardancy and thermal conductivity of potting adhesives. The addition molding liquid silicone rubber has the characteristics of no by-product release, small shrinkage ratio, crosslink density and vulcanization speed when cross-linking, and is an ideal base material for electronic and electrical potting. However, the addition of silicone rubber is non-polar and has poor adhesion. When used as an electronic potting and coating material, moisture will penetrate into the device through the gap between the rubber and the substrate, causing corrosion and insulation failure. . The use of a primer to treat the surface of the substrate improves the adhesion of the additive silicone material to various materials; however, this method increases the production process and production time, and the solvent volatilization during use causes unnecessary environmental pollution. . Carbonate (PC) has excellent insulation, good flame retardancy and dimensional stability, and is widely used as an outer casing, a body and a bracket material in electronic appliances. The various aminosilanes commonly used in synthetic liquid silicone rubbers have good adhesion to PC, but cannot be used because they are toxic to the addition of liquid silicone rubber. There have been many studies in foreign countries, and domestic research on additive molding potting has started late, and there is no real market-oriented product. Chen Hua et al. prepared different tackifiers and studied the adhesion of silicone micropowder-filled potting compounds to different substrates, but did not investigate their adhesion to PC.
This experiment uses terminal vinyl silicone oil and hydrogen-containing silicone oil as the base material, alumina is the heat conductive filler, aluminum hydroxide is the flame retardant, vinyl trimethoxysilane and γ-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane. The mixture is a coupling agent, the platinum complex is used as a catalyst, and the reaction product of trimethylolpropane diallyl, γ-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane and tetraethyl orthosilicate is used as a tackifier, and is prepared. The effect of hydrogen-containing silicone oil, alumina, aluminum hydroxide and tackifier on the properties of potting compound was studied by two-component addition flame retardant thermal conductive silicone electronic potting compound.

2. Preparation of tackifier
A metered amount of trimethylolpropane diallyl, γ-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane, tetraethyl orthosilicate and butyl titanate was added to a three-necked flask, and the mixture was reacted at 80 ° C for 2 hours. The low boilers were removed to obtain a light yellow transparent liquid tackifier with a viscosity of 15 and a volatile content <2%.
3. Preparation of potting glue
Preparation of base material: 100 parts of vinyl silicone oil, 150 parts of alumina, 30 parts of aluminum hydride were added to a high-speed disperser and uniformly mixed, and vacuum defoamed to obtain a base.
