G20-LED Guangzhou Summit: LED industry opportunities in a global perspective

With the joint efforts of the first member companies, the G20-LED Summit passed a formal theme meeting to discuss the actual development of industry and enterprises. Global industry competition

After years of rapid growth in the LED industry and gradual participation in global competition, it is necessary for LED companies to revisit from a global perspective.

In the past, due to the small scale of domestic LED companies, the growth rate is extremely fast, and they are already among the leaders in their respective fields. Because of this, they are still outside the attention of most global competitors, so they can systematically build the capabilities needed to go global. Their cost is their own proprietary technology and local market operation advantages.

But now, whether it is a large state-owned enterprise or a private enterprise with strong market competitiveness, it faces enormous challenges in improving productivity. Before they truly participate in global competition and become a world-class LED lighting company, there is still a long way to go without exception. At the same time, many domestic LED companies have competed face-to-face with multinational companies in the global market, and their degree of globalization in operations, organization and management is gradually increasing.

Therefore, LED companies need to consider the positioning, opportunities, challenges and breakthroughs of the company in a global perspective.

G20–LED Summit members agreed that the future development of the LED industry will mainly focus on creating new products and supply chain value systems, not capacity. There are many innovative companies in China, and as a member of the G20-LED Summit, it will be the most innovative enterprise in the LED industry in China and the world. At the same time, more innovations will accelerate the development of the LED industry.
