On October 29th, China Kekunshan International Sensor Industry Development and Cooperation Forum was held in Zhouzhuang County. The world’s sensor industry giants including US Honeywell, Switzerland’s Roznic, Finland’s VIT, and Japan’s Figaro Electronics have sent high-ranking officials from China to attend the forum. The Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Information Industry also dispatched key personnel to participate, highlighting Kunshan’s sensors. The status of the industrial base in the industrial structure of China and even the world also indicates that the international transfer of sensing industry to China is accelerating.

In the six years since the establishment of China Kekunshan High-tech Industrial Park, it has attracted 1.8 billion yuan to attract more than 20 hi-tech companies, and it has an annual output of 450 million sensors. Among them, the output of infrared sensors accounts for 60% of the world's total. Photoelectric sensors It accounts for 20% of world production. Vice Mayor Gu Jianyu pointed out at the forum that high-tech industries such as sensors have become an important link between Kunshan and the world. Kunshan Municipal Party Committee and the municipal government will fully support the development of high-tech industries and promote the transformation of “Kunshan manufacturing” to “Kunshan creation”.

Sensors, known as the "eyes" and "sensory nerves" of electronic information products, are extending from the military field to the people's livelihood supplies and have become a very important sunrise industry in the modern era. At present, sensors have been included in the national "Eleventh Five-Year" key support industry projects.
