LG's 55-inch OLED TV has sold 200 units
It is reported that LG confirmed that the company has sold 200 units since the first 55-inch OLED TV was released in Korea.
The LG 55EM970V OLED began accepting orders from South Korea in January and officially began shipping in February. In South Korea, the model received 100 orders in six weeks, and Hugo Shin, director of home entertainment communications at LG Headquarters in Seoul, confirmed that the model had shipped 200 units.
Shin said that although the initial sales figures are not high, LG will provide a sufficient number of OLEDs and 4K UHD TVs in the next 24 months. On the other hand, LG is still producing plasma TVs due to customer demand, but these models are considered low-budget products.
